1. Overview

Welcome to Audivo. This policy explains how we treat information in connection with your use of the app.

Core features include selecting videos from your photo library or files, extracting audio locally, managing local task history, and sharing files via the system share sheet. Optional features may include importing videos over the same Wi‑Fi network through a temporary on-device service (data remains on your device; see below).

2. Information We Do Not Collect From You

We do not proactively collect the following to build profiles or transmit to our servers:

• Account credentials, real name, phone number, or email (no sign-up is required)
• Precise location or address book contents
• Advertising identifiers used for cross-app tracking
• Usage analytics uploaded via third-party analytics/advertising SDKs (the app does not integrate such SDKs)

3. Local Processing and On-Device Data

3.1 Media You Choose and Files You Create

• Videos: Selected by you via the system photo picker, file picker, or (if you use it) the local-network import flow, for local transcoding/audio extraction.
• Audio output: Saved in app-accessible local storage for playback, management, or sharing through the system share UI.

We do not automatically upload this content to servers we operate; the app does not provide cloud sync for your media.

3.2 Settings and Task Records

The app may store locally, for example:

• UI preferences such as language, theme, and font
• Local records related to extract tasks (e.g. status, local paths) to show history and progress

Such data stays in the app sandbox under OS protections and is typically removed when you uninstall the app unless you back it up elsewhere.

4. System Permissions

Depending on features you use, the system may prompt for access such as:

• Photos / media library: To pick videos stored on the device.
• Files: To pick videos from Files and similar locations.
• Local network (where applicable): For optional “import from computer”-style features that run a temporary service on the same Wi‑Fi; this does not upload your media to a remote server we operate.

You can review or revoke permissions in system Settings; some features may stop working if access is denied.

5. Optional Feature: Import Over Local Wi‑Fi

If you enable the related feature, the app may start a temporary, on-device way to receive files (for example, opening a URL shown in the app from a browser on the same network). The intent is to save files on this device for further processing inside the app. We do not operate a central upload service that identifies you in this flow. Use trusted networks and protect any URL or code displayed in the app.

6. Sharing and System Services

When you use Share, the destination and channel are chosen by you and governed by the recipient app or service’s policies. Apple and other vendors may provide crash diagnostics, analytics, or security features according to your device settings and their policies.

7. Third-Party Components (FFmpeg-related)

The app may embed open-source multimedia libraries (such as FFmpegKit) to perform decoding/encoding on device. Processing is local; it does not send your files to the FFmpeg project’s servers. We do not use these libraries to collect personally identifiable information.

8. Children’s Privacy

The app is a general-purpose tool and is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us using the details below and we will address it in accordance with applicable law.

9. Security and Deletion

• Processing is confined to the device and app sandbox; keep your device passcode and OS protections in place.
• You can delete tasks or exports in the app, or uninstall to remove sandbox data (back up anything you need first).

10. Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. The new version will be made available in the app or distribution channel; material changes will be highlighted where appropriate. Continued use means you acknowledge the update as permitted by law.

11. Applicable Law and Your Rights

Subject to the laws that apply to you, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, and objection. In a mostly local-data app, many choices are exercised by managing app data and permissions. We respect applicable privacy laws (including PIPL where relevant) and common international principles.
